Collages

I'm working on some fun new collages to give people a feel for the work I love to do. I love to get the mood of the occasion and also the little things that you might miss on a special day or season. Those little things that bring the memories back. I hope to get more uploaded in the next couple days. Off to a busy birthday weekend for my little guy!!

New Year, New Blog

New Year means fixing and vamping things up. New resolutions. New goals. Really making an effort to do what you want with your life. I decided to fix up the blog since I've moved to South Carolina and I'm trying to get some interest in my photography. I was also looking into setting up a website... but I thought I'd try here first. There are so many websites to feature my work such as wix.com and godaddy.com but you read so many negative reviews of different companies. Why can't happy people review more often? :)

This week has been a busy week at home, trying to keep the working out continuing on. I am planning to keep running for a long time, I need to keep it up. When you stop for a while and then go back.. ugh my feet feel heavy.

Okay so that's completely off the subject. Excited about this coming week. I get to give some makeovers to some well deserving Military Spouses with deployed husbands. Also my son is turning 2! I love birthdays. So much joy remembering that special day he came into this world and of course it's an incredible opportunity for some wonderful photographs. And of course, it's going to be a dinosaur themed day. Sadly enough Dino Dan has become a big part of our life.

Top 3 Cosmetic items!

Makeup is very important for photographs, especially for special occasions. Brand doesn't always matter but I do find that certain products work better from me. And some last longer than others which is very important for weddings. Now.. hopefully this would never happen. But if you got stuck with only 3 Cosmetic products.. for a photo shoot or even for a daily basis, these are ones I would choose.
  1. Concealor. Undereye darkness looks really bad in photos. Use lightly all over face as a foundation if needed.
  2. Mascara. Finishes off the eyes perfectly.
  3. Blush. Add life to a face that can sometimes look flat with only concealor/foundation.

Pets

Pets are great models. You don't have to pay them ;) although they do move around a little too much. My Golden Retriever, Bella, and my Jack Russell Terrier, Stanley, are my buddies. They have learned to put up with the camera.. Thank you guys :)
